What are we offering?

Romas Marine Monaco offers environmentally friendly, sustainable marine clothing and various other textiles such as towels, bedlinen, cushion covers etc made suitable for the marine industry from recycled marine waste designed by prestigious Monaco environmental supporter Ms Claudia Cherki – Claudia Signature.

What is the need?

Today the fashion industry accounts for up to 10% of global carbon dioxide output, more than international flights and shipping combined according to the United Nations Environment Program.

Due to international regulations the players in the marine industry are more and more required to comply with strict sustainable ESG programs and our products fit this objective perfectly.

What will we achieve?

Each year about 8 million tons of plastic waste gets released into the world’s oceans. Romas Marine together with Claudia Cherki is offering a unique concept of clothes and other textiles made from marine waste thus creating a circular economy which is sustainable and environmentally friendly and therefore strongly contributing towards a cleaner environment and reduction of CO2 emissions.

Circular Economy

Production in less environmental countries will reduce while marine waste is reduced as well. A win win situation for nature. The products which can be shirts, uniforms, towels, cloth, polo’s etc are of highest quality, made in Europe. Existing customers are the Monaco Government, AS Monaco basketball team, Monaco Yacht Club etc.

SAVE OUR OCEANS WITH SUSTAINABLE MARINE CLOTHING AND GARMENTS

Recycled polyester

Recycled polyester is made from recycled materials (PET and polyester fabrics)

The energy needed to make the RPET is less than what is needed to make the virgin polyester.

Recycling PET to create the fabrics prevents it from going to landfill.

Using more recycled polyester reduces our dependence on petroleum as the raw material for our fabric needs.
